Fraser Clarke Heston went on to write the screenplay for The Mountain Men (1980), a film starring his father.
He also wrote and produced Mother Lode (1982), again starring his father.
Charlton Heston also codirected the latter film, with Joe Canutt, son of Western actor Yakima Canutt.
